Letter to university for issuing hall ticket

This letter is addressed to head of the student council of the university. By writing an appeal letter to university a student makes an appeal with the university to fulfill their requirement. Hence the relation between student and university is formal therefore the language should be more professional and simple. While writing this letter a student should mention all his/her details in the letter through which he/she can be recognized by the university and also have to write specifically about their reason behind writing this appeal letter.

Subject: APPEAL LETTER TO UNIVERSITY
Dear, Mr. William
My name is Frank A. Coates I am a student of Third Year Bachelor’s of Science from St. Martin’s college of Medical in London-Gatwick. After one month our annual examination is going to be held on 1st November, 2010. All students who are opting for this examination have got their hall tickets from the college authorities on the last date of college that is 31stAugust, 2010. But my hall ticket was not present with the college authorities and they made a justification that they have not received from the university itself. Hence I am making an appeal to you that please issue my hall ticket as soon as possible because the time remaining for examination to be held is very less. My college Roll No: 0137862 will help you to get my details.
Yours Sincerely,
